As Devin and I get ready for our little guy to come, which is not for another 4 months, I have so many questions. When I get bored which happens alot in Springfield, I jump on the internet and start searching for baby stuff like nursery ideas, cribs, furniture, car seats, strollers, and baby clothes. Well I am so confused when it comes to the best car seats and strollers, so that is where I need your help. What is your favorite brand of car seats and strollers and why? Please Please Please help me out with your imput, I would greatly appreciate it.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABE!
I just got home from SLC so I'm alittle late on posting this, but I had to do it any way. Today July 9th is Devin's 26th Birthday and I just wanted to let him know how much I love him. In the 9 months we have been married I have learned so much about devin and my love and appreciation for him continues to grow each day. I am so proud of all that he has accomplished and for the man he is striving to become. Devin thank you so much for being so patient with me, respecting me, loving me, taking care of me, honoring your priesthood, and being an example to me. You are going to be an amazing father and I look forward to building a happy and healthy family with you. I hope you have had a super fun birthday and I look forward to more and more birthdays to celebrate together. I love you babe!

4th of July weekend in SLC
I had the great opportunity of going to SLC this past weekend for a doctor's appointment and was able to participate in some family fun. I know you all are probably wondering why Devin wasn't in any of the pictures, but he couldn't come because of work. Just so all of you know he is still alive and doing well and I will try to get a picture of him to post sooner or later.
My dorky brother Zach thought he was dead sexy with this new hair due. He sported it all night long. So embarrassing!
I have the most adorable nieces and nephew in the whole wide world!!

It's a ...
Devin and I couldn't be more excited to start our new little family with a boy. We feel so blessed to have the opportunity to become parents and grow to love, adore, and teach this little guy. We both have thought from the very beginning that it would be a boy, but in all the books I've read they say that most all the time it ends up being the opposite of what you think. Well we proved them wrong! On my side of the family there are a total of 6 grandkids and 2 on the way. There are 5 little girls with one on the way and 1 boy our lonely ranger. We are excited to give my nephew a little buddy to play with! This morning devin and I went to Ultrasona, similar to Fetal Foto, to have the ultrasound done to determine the gender. We were able to get alot of fun pictures of him and he was moving around alot so it made it easy to see him at all different angles. Below I have posted some of my favorite pictures. It's amazing what our technology now a days is capable of doing. Hope you all enjoy the pictures as much as we do.
Can you see him smiling at you? I think he wanted to show his mom and dad that he has a sweet sense of humor! :)
In this picture you can see his arm cruled up by his head, his legs, and his cute little face! Who do you think think he looks most like devin or I?

Another beautiful day in DC
Today some of us wives got together to explore some of the beautiful monuments in Washington DC. There is so much to see and so little time. I have really enjoyed my time here in Virginia and I'm growing to absolutley love the east coast. Thanks girls for joining me on another adventure in DC.
The greatest means of transportation. I always see the metro in movies and it's been so much fun to actually ride in one and be apart of the excitement!! I know I'm weird!:)
Angie,Emily, and Ashley at the World War II Memorial. I love the beautiful fountains.
The state I've lived in for the past 24 years. Home Sweet Home
The two places I've lived in the last 5 months, isn't that crazy?!
Washington Monument
The Lincoln Memorial. This Statue of Abraham Lincoln is absolutely amazing. Pictures don't do it justice.
Just giving Mr. Roosevelt a hand!
Posing by Franklin D. Roosevelt and his doggie
Statue of Jefferson, sorry it's alittle dark.
The Jefferson Memorial
The Bureau of Engraving and Printing Museum. We didn't actually go inside cause the soonest tour was at 6:15 p.m. and we were there to get tickets at noon so we didn't feel like waiting around until then. You snooze you lose!!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!
I just wanted to say HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all of the fathers and soon-to-be fathers in my life.
Dad, thanks for always being there for me and loving me unconditionally. I love you!
Joe, I really lucked out when it came to a father-in-law. Thanks for all your love and support. I love you!
Devin, our soon-to-be father. You are going to be an amazing father to our kids and I can't wait to watch you learn and grow with them. I love you and appreciate all you do for our family. I look forward to a lifetime of memory making.
My brother's Jeramy, Zach, and Josh are wonderful fathers to their own little families. Thanks for always setting a great example to follow. I love you guys.

My Obsession
Yes it's true my new obsession is Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. It's a horrible obsession because they contain so so many calories and fat grams, but I honestly can't get them off my mind. It all started in Hawaii when my nana started talking about them and how they really are the best doughnuts and worth every calorie. When I got home from Hawaii I had kinda forgotten about them but then we were over at our friends Jon and Julie's apartment and I spotted a Krispy Kreme box. That next morning I got on the internet to search for the nearest Krispy Kreme location. I found one in Alexandria which is about 30 to 45 minutes away from us. I was bumbed out cause I knew Devin didn't have time to pickup a box before or after work and he was the one with the car the whole week. What was I to do?! Well, Devin being the wonderful husband he is let me take the car for the day so I called Julie and Ashley and asked if they wanted to join me in an adventure to Krispy Kreme Doughnuts! I have never enjoyed a Krispy Kreme Doughnut as much as I did that day words really can't explain. So there you have it my OBSESSION!!
P.S. I'm happy that the nearest location to us is 30 minutes away cause if it were any closer I think I would come home to Utah a big fat pregnant pig. Hopefully I get over this obsession sooner than later!!
