Mckenzi and Bret are engaged

Last Saturday night Bret McCormick asked my little sister to be his wife and she said, YES!! He asked her at Temple Square in front of the Old Assembly Hall Building. I was so much fun to be there and watch Mckenzi's excitement when Bret got down on one knee and asked her. Thank you Bret for always making Mckenzi so happy! WE are so excited for you to join our family!!

Lights at Temple Square

Every year at this time my side of the family gets together for dinner at Cafe Rio and Temple Square Lights. It is so much fun to be with everyone and I know Tate loves to be with all his cousins. WE missed Jenny, Scarlett, Mckenzi, and Bret but hopefully they will be able to join us next year when we do it all over again. The night couldn't have been better, it wasn't too cold, it wasn't super crowded, the lights were amazing, and I love to see the spirit of Christmas touch us all. I hope you all are enjoying this Holiday Season as much as we are!

Santa Clause

Last Friday Night we decided to head on over to Fashion Place Mall to do a little Christmas shopping and to have Tate meet Santa Clause for the very first time. Devin and I had a bet going that if Tate cried then Devin would get $10 and if he was a little angel like he always is then I would get the $10. I think I won. Tate put up a little fight at first, but then settled down and enjoyed sitting on Santa's lap. I was so proud of my little man!!

After a day at Waimea beach we headed over to Sunset beach to watch the sunset and found the O'neil world cup surf competition. Too bad we were alittle late to see any action or anyone famous, maybe next time!!
