Today some of us wives got together to explore some of the beautiful monuments in Washington DC. There is so much to see and so little time. I have really enjoyed my time here in Virginia and I'm growing to absolutley love the east coast. Thanks girls for joining me on another adventure in DC.
The greatest means of transportation. I always see the metro in movies and it's been so much fun to actually ride in one and be apart of the excitement!! I know I'm weird!:)
Angie,Emily, and Ashley at the World War II Memorial. I love the beautiful fountains.
The state I've lived in for the past 24 years. Home Sweet Home
The two places I've lived in the last 5 months, isn't that crazy?!
Washington Monument
The Lincoln Memorial. This Statue of Abraham Lincoln is absolutely amazing. Pictures don't do it justice.
Just giving Mr. Roosevelt a hand!
Posing by Franklin D. Roosevelt and his doggie
Statue of Jefferson, sorry it's alittle dark.
The Jefferson Memorial
The Bureau of Engraving and Printing Museum. We didn't actually go inside cause the soonest tour was at 6:15 p.m. and we were there to get tickets at noon so we didn't feel like waiting around until then. You snooze you lose!!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!
I just wanted to say HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all of the fathers and soon-to-be fathers in my life.
Dad, thanks for always being there for me and loving me unconditionally. I love you!
Joe, I really lucked out when it came to a father-in-law. Thanks for all your love and support. I love you!
Devin, our soon-to-be father. You are going to be an amazing father to our kids and I can't wait to watch you learn and grow with them. I love you and appreciate all you do for our family. I look forward to a lifetime of memory making.
My brother's Jeramy, Zach, and Josh are wonderful fathers to their own little families. Thanks for always setting a great example to follow. I love you guys.

My Obsession
Yes it's true my new obsession is Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. It's a horrible obsession because they contain so so many calories and fat grams, but I honestly can't get them off my mind. It all started in Hawaii when my nana started talking about them and how they really are the best doughnuts and worth every calorie. When I got home from Hawaii I had kinda forgotten about them but then we were over at our friends Jon and Julie's apartment and I spotted a Krispy Kreme box. That next morning I got on the internet to search for the nearest Krispy Kreme location. I found one in Alexandria which is about 30 to 45 minutes away from us. I was bumbed out cause I knew Devin didn't have time to pickup a box before or after work and he was the one with the car the whole week. What was I to do?! Well, Devin being the wonderful husband he is let me take the car for the day so I called Julie and Ashley and asked if they wanted to join me in an adventure to Krispy Kreme Doughnuts! I have never enjoyed a Krispy Kreme Doughnut as much as I did that day words really can't explain. So there you have it my OBSESSION!!
P.S. I'm happy that the nearest location to us is 30 minutes away cause if it were any closer I think I would come home to Utah a big fat pregnant pig. Hopefully I get over this obsession sooner than later!!

Goodbye Hawaii
After 3 1/2 weeks in paradise I am finally home. It's nice to be home to see my wonderful husband and get back in the groove of things, but I can't lie, I miss Hawaii already. I also miss the company of my mom, nana, dad, and mckenzi. It was so much fun to spend that much time with all of them and it really was a once in a life time opportunity. Thank you mom, dad, and nana for letting me tag along and taking care of me. I love you all.
Our last day in Hawaii at Makapu. This was our favorite beach of them all.
Saying goodbye to Waikiki Beach
The most delicious waffle on this planet! I think we had one almost every other day at the Hyatt Resort on Waikiki Beach. I miss it already!
